Is MyCryptoPilot free?

Yes, we offer a Free plan that includes:

• Follow 1 verified trader
• Track up to 3 active signals simultaneously
• Access to basic features

Paid plans (Pro $49/mo, Ultra $99/mo) unlock more traders, signals, and advanced features like the Risk Console and Trading Journal.

Do I need crypto experience to use MyCryptoPilot?

Minimum recommended knowledge:

• Understand what crypto is
• Know how to buy/sell on an exchange
• Basic concepts: entry, stop-loss, take-profit

Not required:

• Advanced technical analysis
• Coding skills
• Prior trading experience

What exchanges does MyCryptoPilot support?

Signals work on any exchange:

• Binance, Bybit, OKX, Kraken, Coinbase, KuCoin, Bitget, etc.
• Both SPOT and PERPETUAL (futures) markets

Each signal specifies the exact trading pair (e.g., "BTC/USDT PERP on Binance").

How do I create an account?

How do I upgrade my plan?

1. Go to Trading → Pricing
2. Choose Pro or Ultra
3. Click "Subscribe Now"
4. Pay with crypto:
   • USDC (Base network) - recommended
   • USDT (Tron network)

Payment is detected automatically within 1-3 minutes. Your plan activates immediately after confirmation.

Can I test the payment flow first?

Yes. Select the $1 Test plan on the pricing page. It generates the same checkout experience with a tiny invoice so you can validate your wallet, network fees, and confirmation timing before upgrading to Pro or Ultra.

What is pro-rata pricing?

You can pay any amount to get proportional access:

Examples:

• Pay $25 → Get ~15 days of Pro ($49/mo)
• Pay $100 → Get ~61 days of Pro
• Pay $50 → Get ~15 days of Ultra ($99/mo)

Formula: Days = (Amount Paid / Monthly Price) × 30

This flexibility lets you try plans without committing to a full month.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Crypto subscriptions are pay-as-you-go:

• Simply stop sending payments
• Your access continues until your paid period expires
• No cancellation process needed

Example: If you paid $49 on Jan 1st, your Pro access expires ~Feb 1st. Just don't pay again to cancel.

I paid the wrong amount. What happens?

The system detects your payment automatically:

• Overpaid: You get extra days proportionally (e.g., pay $98 for Pro → get ~60 days)
• Underpaid: You get partial access (e.g., pay $10 for Pro → get ~6 days)
• Wrong address: Contact contact@mycryptopilot.app with your TX hash

Can I get a refund?

Crypto payments are non-refundable due to blockchain immutability. However:

• Your access is granted immediately
• Pro-rata means you only pay for what you use
• Contact support if there's a technical issue

Using Signals

How do I follow a trader?

1. Navigate to Trading → Traders (marketplace)
2. Browse verified traders
3. Click on a trader's profile
4. Review their stats and recent signals
5. Click "Follow"

Free users: Can follow 1 trader Pro users: Can follow up to 5 traders Ultra users: Follow unlimited traders

How often are signals sent?

Depends on the trader's style:

• Scalpers: 5-15 signals/day (5M-15M timeframes)
• Day traders: 2-5 signals/day (1H-4H timeframes)
• Swing traders: 1-3 signals/week (1D+ timeframes)

Each trader's profile shows their typical frequency.

Where do I see signals?

Signals appear in multiple places:

1. Dashboard: Trading → Dashboard (main feed)
2. Signals Page: Trading → Signals (filterable list)
3. Discord: Instant notification in your DM or channels
4. Email: Delivered to your inbox (if enabled)

What does a signal include?

Every signal contains:

• Symbol: BTC, ETH, SOL, etc.
• Type: SPOT or PERPETUAL
• Bias: LONG (buy) or SHORT (sell)
• Entry Price: Suggested entry level
• Take Profit Targets: TP1, TP2, TP3
• Stop Loss: SL to limit downside
• Risk Level: ⭐-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (1-5 stars)
• Confidence: 0-100% (trader's conviction)
• Rationales: Why the trader took this setup
• Chart: Annotated image (optional)

Should I take every signal?

No. Use discretion:

✅ Take signals when:

• Risk level matches your tolerance
• You understand the setup
• Market conditions align
• You have available capital

❌ Skip signals when:

• Too risky for your comfort (5-star risk)
• You don't understand the rationale
• You're emotionally compromised
• You're overleveraged

Quality > quantity. It's okay to skip signals.

What if I miss the entry price?

Options:

1. Wait for a pullback: Price may retest entry level
2. Skip the trade: Don't chase, wait for next signal
3. Adjust your entry: Enter slightly higher (for LONG) but reduce position size

Never: Market buy at a significantly worse price. That's FOMO.

Can I modify targets or stop-loss?

Yes! Signals are suggestions, not commands.

You can:

• Take partial profits earlier (secure gains)
• Move stop-loss to breakeven after TP1
• Scale out gradually at each TP
• Tighten SL based on your risk tolerance

Remember: The signal is a starting point. You're in control.

What does "active signals limit" mean?

Active signals = trades you're currently tracking.

Example (Free plan, 3 active limit):

• Signal #1: BTC LONG (still open) ✅
• Signal #2: ETH LONG (still open) ✅
• Signal #3: SOL LONG (still open) ✅
• Signal #4: Cannot track (limit reached) ❌

Once Signal #1 hits SL or TP, it closes, freeing a slot for Signal #4.

Upgrade to Pro (15 active) or Ultra (unlimited) if you need more.

How long do signals stay active?

Signals auto-expire based on timeframe:

Traders can manually close or update signals anytime.

Can I copy-trade automatically (API)?

Manual journal copy is live now for Pro and Ultra. Open a signal, hit Copy Trade, and log the position with copy ratio, max risk, and entry price. The trade is stored in your journal for post-analysis.

Automated execution is planned for Ultra subscribers. We’re building a secure copy queue that places orders on connected exchanges with slippage controls and safety rails. You’ll see the UI placeholders in the copy dialog—stay tuned for activation announcements in Discord and release notes.

Risk Management

What is the Risk Console?

The Risk Console (Pro/Ultra) calculates optimal position sizing based on:

1. Your total capital (e.g., $5,000)
2. Your risk tolerance per trade (e.g., 2% = $100)
3. Signal's entry and stop-loss

Output:

• Position size in USD
• Quantity to buy (BTC, ETH, etc.)
• Max loss if SL hit
• Potential profit if TP hit

Formula: Position Size = (Capital × Risk%) / (Entry - SL)

How much should I risk per trade?

Recommended:

• Beginners: 0.5-1% per trade
• Intermediate: 1-2% per trade
• Advanced: 2-3% per trade (max)

Never:

• Risk more than 5% on a single trade
• Go all-in on one signal
• Revenge trade after a loss

Should I use leverage?

Leverage amplifies both gains AND losses.

Recommendations:

• Beginners: Avoid leverage (use SPOT)
• Intermediate: Max 2-3x leverage
• Advanced: Max 5-10x leverage

Never:

• Use 20x+ leverage (extremely risky)
• Leverage your entire account
• Leverage without a stop-loss

What if multiple signals hit stop-loss?

This is part of trading. Even the best traders have losing streaks.

What to do:

• Review your risk per trade (too high?)
• Check if you're following too many signals
• Take a break if emotionally affected
• Remember: 1-3 losses in a row is normal

Risk of ruin formula: With 2% risk per trade, you can survive 50 consecutive losses. With 10% risk, only 10 losses.

Trading Journal (Pro/Ultra)

What is the Trading Journal?

A built-in workspace (Pro/Ultra) for logging trades copied from signals or entered manually. Today the focus is on structured data entry; advanced analytics are rolling out alongside copy-trade automation.

Available now:

• Manual entries via the Copy Trade dialog (MANUAL mode)
• Notes, copy ratio, and risk controls saved with each trade

Coming soon:

• PnL charts, win rate dashboards, and CSV exports within the journal tab
• Automatic population for Ultra followers using exchange copy queues

Why should I keep a journal?

Benefits:

• Identify patterns in wins/losses
• Improve decision-making
• Track progress over months
• Stay disciplined and accountable

Studies show traders with journals outperform those without.

Can I import my trade history?

Not yet. Currently, you must log trades manually.

Coming soon: CSV import from exchanges (Binance, Bybit, etc.).

Portfolio Tracking (Pro/Ultra)

What is Portfolio Tracking?

Portfolio Tracking syncs your exchange trading history (Binance, Bybit) to calculate real performance metrics automatically.

Features:

• Automatic trade import from exchanges (Binance, Bybit) - SPOT + Futures
• 15 performance metrics (Winrate, Profit Factor, Sharpe Ratio, etc.)
• 4 time periods (All-Time, 365D, 90D, 30D)
• Verified Badge for traders (shows stats are real)

Available on: Pro (1 connection), Ultra (3 connections)

How do I connect my exchange?

1. Go to Account → Exchanges
2. Click "Connect Exchange"
3. Select your exchange (Binance or Bybit)
4. Create read-only API keys:
   • Binance Setup Guide
   • Bybit Setup Guide
5. Paste API Key and Secret Key
6. Click "Validate & Connect"

First sync fetches last 30 days of trades. Subsequent syncs run automatically based on your plan (Pro: every 5 minutes, Ultra: every 1 minute).

Is it safe to connect my exchange?

Yes, when done correctly:

✅ What we require:

• Read-only API keys (no withdrawal/trading permissions)
• Keys are AES-256-GCM encrypted before storage
• Encryption key stored securely outside database

✅ What we fetch:

• Trade history (orders, P&L)
• No access to deposits, withdrawals, or balances

❌ What we CANNOT do:

• Place trades
• Withdraw funds
• Transfer assets
• Modify your account

What metrics are calculated?

15 metrics across 4 periods:

Basic:

• Total Trades, Winning Trades, Losing Trades
• Winrate (%), Net PnL

Averages:

• Average Win, Average Loss
• Largest Win, Largest Loss

Advanced:

• Profit Factor (Gross Profit / Gross Loss)
• Sharpe Ratio (risk-adjusted returns)
• Sortino Ratio (downside deviation)
• Max Drawdown (largest peak-to-trough loss)

Periods: All-Time, Last 365 Days, Last 90 Days, Last 30 Days

My connection isn't syncing. What's wrong?

Common issues:

1. Invalid API keys

   • Check for typos (copy-paste carefully)
   • Ensure "Enable Reading" permission is checked
   • Verify keys haven't been revoked in Binance

2. IP whitelist restriction

   • If you set IP restrictions, add MyCryptoPilot server IPs
   • Or use "Unrestricted" for simplest setup

3. No trades in last 30 days

   • First sync only fetches last 30 days
   • If no trades, sync succeeds but shows 0 trades

4. Rate limit exceeded

   • Wait 1 minute and try "Sync Now"
   • Binance has rate limits (weight-based)

Solution: Go to Account → Exchanges, click "Sync Now" to retry manually.

I'm getting "Invalid API Key" error

Causes:

1. Typo in keys: Spaces before/after, missing characters
2. Wrong permissions: "Enable Reading" must be checked
3. Keys revoked: Check Binance API Management page
4. IP restriction: MyCryptoPilot IPs not whitelisted

Fix:

1. Go to Binance → API Management
2. Verify key exists and is active
3. Check permissions (Read Only)
4. Copy keys again (no extra spaces)
5. Reconnect in MyCryptoPilot

If persists, delete the API key in Binance and create new ones from scratch.

How often does it sync?

Sync frequency by plan:

Plan	Frequency	Use Case
FREE	N/A	No connections allowed
PRO	Every 5 minutes	Frequent performance updates
ULTRA	Every 1 minute	Near real-time tracking

You can also click "Sync Now" anytime to force immediate sync.

Will I get email notifications?

Yes, for sync failures only:

• You'll receive an email if sync fails (invalid keys, network errors, etc.)
• Rate limited: Max 1 email per 24 hours per connection
• Email includes troubleshooting guidance

No spam: You won't get emails for successful syncs.

Disable: Go to Account → Email Preferences to opt-out.

What's the Verified Badge?

The Verified Badge appears on trader profiles when:

✅ Exchange is connected and syncing successfully ✅ Trades are being imported automatically ✅ Performance metrics are calculated

❌ Badge is removed when:

• Exchange is disconnected
• Sync has been failing for 7+ days

Purpose: Shows followers that your stats are real and backed by live trading data (not manually entered).

Can I connect multiple exchanges?

Yes, based on your plan:

• Pro Plan: 1 exchange connection (Binance OR Bybit)
• Ultra Plan: Up to 3 exchange connections (Binance + Bybit + more)
• All trades are aggregated for performance metrics
• Useful if you trade on multiple exchanges or accounts

Supported exchanges: Binance, Bybit

Coming soon: OKX, Kraken, KuCoin API support.

Does it work with Spot and Futures?

Yes! Both supported:

• Spot trades: P&L calculated from buy/sell pairs
• Futures trades: P&L from realizedPnl field

Metrics are calculated across all trade types combined.

What if I disconnect my exchange?

When you disconnect:

• ✅ Historical trades remain in database (not deleted)
• ❌ Auto-sync stops
• ❌ Verified Badge is removed
• ❌ Performance stats hidden from marketplace

You can reconnect anytime without data loss.

Can I delete my trade history?

Yes. When you disconnect, you can choose:

1. Keep trades: Disconnect but preserve historical data
2. Delete all trades: Remove connection + all imported trades

Warning: Deleting trades also deletes performance snapshots. This action is irreversible.

I have trades older than 30 days. Can I import them?

Currently: First sync only fetches last 30 days due to Binance API limits.

Workaround: Historical imports aren't supported yet.

Coming soon: Extended history import (up to 1 year) for Ultra users.

Discord Integration

Why should I connect Discord?

Benefits:

• Instant signal notifications (faster than email)
• Access to MyCryptoPilot community
• Trader discussions and Q&A
• Auto-assigned roles based on your plan

How do I connect Discord?

1. Go to Account → Discord
2. Click "Connect Discord Account"
3. Authorize the MyCryptoPilot bot
4. Your Discord ID is linked

What roles do I get?

Can I disconnect Discord?

Do I have to use Discord?

No. Discord is optional. You can use MyCryptoPilot entirely via the web app and email.

Becoming a Trader

How do I become a verified trader?

Requirements:

• 6+ months consistent trading
• 50+ documented trades
• Transparent track record (win rate, R:R)
• Positive performance

Process:

1. Go to Account → Become Trader
2. Fill out application form
3. Upload track record
4. Submit for review (7-14 days)

Do verified traders earn money?

Currently: No direct revenue sharing (platform is free).

Benefits:

• Build reputation and brand
• Grow follower base
• Network with other traders
• Establish yourself as an expert

Future (2025): Premium trader tiers with revenue sharing coming.

Can I apply if I'm a beginner?

Wait until you have:

• 6+ months of experience
• 50+ trades documented
• Consistent profitability

Build your track record first, then apply.

What if my application is rejected?

You can reapply after 90 days with:

• Improved track record
• More trades documented
• Better win rate or R:R

Rejection isn't permanent. Use it as motivation to improve.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. The web app works on mobile browsers.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use:

• Encryption: All data encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS)
• Authentication: Better Auth with secure sessions
• API keys: Exchange API keys (Binance) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage
• Crypto payments: No credit card data stored

Portfolio Tracking (Optional):

• Requires read-only Binance API keys for trade syncing
• Keys are encrypted using military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption
• Encryption key stored securely outside database
• Keys never appear in logs or error messages
• You can disconnect and revoke keys anytime

We NEVER ask for:

• API keys with withdrawal or trading permissions
• Private keys or seed phrases
• Exchange passwords
• 2FA codes

How do I delete my account?

Email contact@mycryptopilot.app with:

• Your account email
• Reason for deletion (optional)

We'll process deletion within 7 days per GDPR.

Note: Active subscriptions are non-refundable.

Crypto Payments

Why crypto-only payments?

Benefits:

• No chargebacks (fair for both sides)
• Global access (no bank restrictions)
• Lower fees than Stripe/PayPal
• Instant confirmations (1-3 minutes)
• Privacy-friendly

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted:

• USDC on Base network (recommended)
• USDT on Tron network

Not accepted:

• Credit cards
• PayPal
• Bank transfers
• Other cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, etc.)

I don't have USDC/USDT. How do I get it?

Option 1: Buy directly (easiest):

• Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, etc.
• Buy USDC or USDT
• Withdraw to your wallet

Option 2: Swap other crypto:

• Use Uniswap, PancakeSwap, or exchange
• Swap BTC/ETH → USDC/USDT

How long does payment confirmation take?

Base (USDC): 1-3 minutes (1 confirmation) Tron (USDT): 1-2 minutes (1 confirmation)

Your plan activates automatically after blockchain confirmation.

I sent payment but didn't get access. What do I do?

1. Check your transaction on block explorer (Base/Tron)
2. Confirm it was sent to the correct address
3. Wait 5 minutes for blockchain confirmation
4. If still not activated after 10 minutes, email support with:
   • Your account email
   • Transaction hash (TX)
   • Amount sent
   • Network used (Base or Tron)

We'll resolve it within 24 hours.
